It's official - I've finally released a basic alpha version of a public API for TheTenWordReview.com. Right now it's quite a simple (but powerful) thing that lets you pull out lists of reviews in either JSON, serialised PHP or RSS format. These lists of reviews can be whittled down pretty much any way you like - by username, review or category title or any combination of the above. You also get to choose whether you'd like to pull out your list of reviews chronologically or by popularity. I'm hoping that by doing this it will inspire a few of you to create something sparkly from the data.
Talking of sparkly, that's exactly what David Dorward and Steve Webster are doing. David is currently doing some very groovy things with a redesign of his site that will hopefully go live soon, and Steve is about to write a flash badge that you'll be able to put onto your websites to let you keep track of the ten word review all over the web! Superb!
To get hold of an API key, just email me and I'll set you one up. Oh, and don't forget to read the documentation!
