A Dalek (pronunciation  "dah-leck", IPA: /ˈdɑːlεk/) is a member of a fictional extraterrestrial race of mutants from the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. Daleks are organisms from the planet Skaro, integrated within a tank-like mechanical casing.
